He is President of Jewish Vegetarians of North America (JVNA) and the Society of Ethical and Religious Vegetarians (SERV), director of the Veg Climate Alliance, a patron of the International Jewish Vegetarian Society, and on the advisory committee of the Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM).
