Areetam Foundation

Today is the start of the vegetarian festival. I went to the Areetam Foundation, which is a herbal medical center, where vegetarian food is being served for the nine days of the festival.
The place has a wonderful smell of herbs from the many bottles on the shelves as well as beautiful Buddha images in a big shrine in the middle of the room.The Chinese music helped to complete the nice atmosphere of the place.

A product with a yellow vegetarian sticker on it and the coffee does not taste bad either.

Khun Churn

The Menu

I went to the Kanjanapisek branch of Khun Churn vegetarian restaurant the other day.I had some kao-soy (Northern Thai food) and some lab kua (Northeastern Thai food)

vegetarian style which was tasty.

The restaurant is on the Bangkok ring road 136/28 M17 Kanjanapisek Road in Market Square not too far from the Mall Bang Khae. Buses 127, 156 and aircondtioned bus 177 pass by.
